7.4.9.3.(2) Requires an upsize because of the amount of bowls. Pipes can only handle a specific amount of drainage volume. It is important to note that undersized drains can cause drainage pipes to operate beyond their capacity, this can cause slow draining sinks and stress the venting and drainage system, possibly causing clogged piped in the future. Horizontal drains are designed to only operate at 65% capacity.
